From Invisibility
to Transformation

The story behind the slogan

Our slogan “From invisibility to transformation” highlights the realities experienced by women, Indigenous peoples, and other marginalized groups, which are often overlooked in data, policies, and decision-making spaces. In the face of systems that perpetuate this invisibility, the goal is not only to make these realities visible, but to drive deep transformation: rethinking power structures, integrating the knowledge and leadership of those concerned, and moving from symbolic inclusion to real and lasting justice.

The story behind the painting : Where Art Meets Intersectionality:

We use this painting as part of our branding, created by a Panamanian artist, as a visual representation of intersectionality, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we hold the rights to use it. Its layered composition—through both color and form—reflects the complexity of intersecting identities, where elements overlap and interact without any single one dominating. This illustrates how diverse experiences coexist and highlights the importance of recognizing different voices. The contrasts in the artwork also evoke invisibility and marginalization, as well as the potential for transformation toward more equitable and inclusive systems.
